I’m Rowan Faris—a producer, director, and production designer creating narrative, commercial, and live work rooted in authenticity and bold visual storytelling.
Rowan Faris is a director, producer, and production designer drawn to work that feels honest, atmospheric, and a little bit lived in.
She is less interested in perfect images and more interested in the feeling something leaves behind. Most of her work starts there, with a mood, a memory, or a moment, and builds outward.
She began in the nonprofit space, where storytelling was about connection above all else. That has carried through into everything she makes now.
Rowan directed the award-winning short film SNIP and has collaborated with brands including Chase Bank, Aperol, Magic Mind, Nelly’s Organics, and Loren Stewart.
She is especially passionate about women-led productions and building teams that feel collaborative, supportive, and creatively open. Some of her favorite work has come from those environments, where people feel safe enough to take risks and actually enjoy the process.
